Kaneohe - Kaneohe is a family-friendly community located on the east coast of Oahu, just north of Kailua. Kaneohe has several excellent public schools, including Kaneohe Elementary School, Heeia Elementary School, and King Intermediate School. The community also has several private schools, including St. Mark Lutheran School and St. Ann's School.  In terms of community activities, Kaneohe is home to several parks, including the lush Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden and the Kaneohe Bay Beach Park. The community also has several shopping centers, restaurants, and movie theaters, as well as the Windward Mall.

Commuting from Kaneohe to Honolulu can be challenging during rush hour, but the Likelike Highway provides a more direct route to the city. Kaneohe is also close to the beautiful Kualoa Ranch, at the base of the Ko’olau range.  After a big storm, one can see many waterfalls and rainbows.  The Kualoa Ranch offers a variety of outdoor activities, including horseback riding, zip lining, and ATV tours.
